He has also spent time working abroad for British American Tobacco in the emerging African markets and Reckitt Benckiser in the Eastern European marketplace. A qualified surveyor Jon started life working for commercial real estate agents Vail Williams. Jon Now works for Marjon Consulting Ltd as Managing Director providing logistical support and risk assessment for the business in Ghana.

Joseph M. KUM, PhD;JD – In house legal advisor
Joseph M. Kum holds a Ph.D. (International Relations) from The American University, Washington, D.C. and a J.D. from the University of Maryland, USA. Before that he studied at Ohio University, Athens, OH, USA and The University of Yaounde, Cameroon.
Dr. Kum was an Associate Professor of Government at Bowie State University, Maryland and practiced law in Maryland and U.S. Federal Courts for several years since his admission to the Maryland Bar in 1996. His initial foray into West Africa’s commodity market was as a Mandate for PETROCI, Cote d’Ivoire’s national oil company, where he worked on the company’s vision to enter Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector. He is now a business counsel for foreign interests in Ghana’s mining industry. He is bilingual as he speaks and writes English and French fluently; these communication skills have been useful in reaching out to Ghana’s surrounding market in the francophone neighboring countries.
Dr. Kum is a native of Cameroon but a US citizen. He is married and a father of three children.

Cherubin Awagbe is an MBA graduate from the University of Ghana, Legon. He spent a number of years in the Intelligence service of Ghana called the Bureau of National Investigation (Ghana’s secret service akin to the FBI in the USA), He was hand picked to then join the EOCO team, (Economic and Organized Crime Office). Where to date his former colleague is now the executive Deputy Director of EOCO, Justice Tsar. To date he helps Blue chip companies with anti counterfeiting and anti fraud services. He currently works for companies such as, SC Johnson, Philip Morris International, Unilever Ghana and Colgate Palmolive and Coca Cola.
Geologist – Boateng Maxwell Antwi
Senior Geologist/Head of Geological Records Ghana Geological Survey Department)
Maxwell has over 16 years’ experience in the mining sectors of which the last 10 years were in key Consultant Geologist in the capacity for geological mapping, sampling and reserve calculation. Maxwell has also recently served as Senior Geologist with VIVANO MINERALS LLC, USA, where he played a role a Senior Geologist and carried out preliminary geological investigations to assess the lode gold mineralization potential at Banka in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Maxwell also led MENSBEK RESOURCES LIMITED, GHANA, in preparation for their work programme for Agona Nyaakrom gold concession reconnaissance license and also a work programmer for Limestone Concession at Akosombo, all in Ghana. Additionally, Maxwell has been involved in assessing the alluvial gold mineralization potential of the Watreso and Feneso concession in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and Dunkwa in the Central Region of Ghana and Muoso in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Mining Consultant – Joshua.N.I. Ollennu MSc
Joshua Ollennu is a graduate of the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa with an MSc and Diploma in Mining Engineering.
Mr. Ollennu has acquired computer proficiency in
Whittle Four – X (Pit Optimization Software); Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; and MS Project. These added skills have enhanced Mr. Ollennu’s understanding of mining costing and economics which is useful for total mining management. He has been in the mining industry for over a decade focusing on alluvial goldand quarry operations. His first assignment was with the Ghana Consolidated Diamonds Limited, Akwatia, as Mining Engineer responsible for open pit planning and designing, and also Supervisor of the Diamonds Processing Plant. For over three years, he served as Production Manager, Nsemmere Quarry Limited, responsible for drilling and blasting operations, fleet management, crushing plant operations, labour control, and safety training. Following that he worked as a Quarry Manager, Mawums Quarry Limited, overseeing operations at the quarry face and the crushing plant as well as general quarry management. Mr. Ollennu is well-respected by his associates in the industry and has frequently been recommended by peers at the Minerals Commission to tackle some of the problem quarry and mining operations.
